Can a Tandem Bike Be Carried at the Front of a 2013 Ram 2500
Question:
After viewing the video I see that there is a 4inch rise from the hitch to the bike platform. I plan to use this to carry a tandem bike on the front of my 2013 Ram 2500 with Draw-Tite Front Hitch, part 65063. I dont want to use the Curt Front Hitch, part C31015, because the receiver is below the bumper.

The Swagman XC-Extended bike rack, # S64650-EXT, will be your best bet to support the wheelbase of a tandem bike. The maximum wheelbase it will accept is 68 inches. If that wheelbase works for you, this rack has many great features.
Keep in mind that carrying anything at the front of your truck can block the headlights and signal lamps, reduce airflow, and could affect driver visibility.
If you go with the # S64650-EXT, I recommend adding the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock and Cable for Swagman Bike Racks w/ 1-1/4" & Combo Shanks - 7' # S64031, to secure the rack and the bike and deter theft.
