Will Curt OEM 5th-Wheel Hitch Legs for Ford # C16017 Fit 2006 Ford F250 with Factory Pucks
Question:
Your application guide says 2011 and newer. My 2006 has a factory installed puck system. Will this work on my truck?

My technical contacts at Curt are not familiar with 2006 Ford F-250s having a factory 5th wheel puck system, nor are any of my associates here at etrailer. This factory-installed feature has been offered only since late-2010 production trucks.
It is possible that the pucks in your truck are dealer-installed, or if the truck were pre-owned perhaps it was fitted with an aftermarket system of some kind such as the Reese Under-Bed Rail Kit # RP30073.
This Reese system does use a Power Puck mounting system intended for use with Reese Elite Series 5th wheel hitches such as # RP30144. This is, according to my contact at Reese, the same puck system as offered in the newer Ford trucks, so it will work with the Curt leg kit # C16017.
