Is One Set or Two Sets of Tire Chains Needed for 2012 Ford Escape with Intelligent 4-Wheel Drive

Hi, I have a 2012 Ford Escape Limited tire size 225/65R17 with the intelligent 4WD which I know is a fancy way of saying AWD. But I am wondering do I need two sets of chains or only one set for the front axle tires?

You could use 2 sets of tire chains on your intelligent 4-wheel drive system on your 2012 Ford Escape but only 1 set would be required on the main drive wheels.
The Thule Snow Tire Chains # TH01571245 are an excellent choice. I recent had the chance to install many of the different chains that we carry and these are amongst the easiest to install.
You will also want to consult the vehicle owners manual for specific information on the use of tire chains. I have included a link to the right to a couple of tire chain help articles as well.
