How to Pick Out a Replacement Hub For a Trailer with Timken Bearings

Question:

I have a 6 lug hub that broke off.Hit a curb, later on down the road it broke taking tire and outer part of hub off in a canal. What I have left is the inner part of hub with the bearings. Outer bearing is Timken 09074. Inner bearing is Timken 15112. I dont see these in your listings. If you dont have something that will work,Ill need a new axle to fit a 60foot frame width. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!! PS Its a duel axle trailer.

In order to pick out the correct hub assembly for a trailer you are going to need know a few key pieces of information. The first thing you will need to know is the bolt pattern of your hubs. This is so you get a hub that is compatible with your wheels. I attached an FAQ article on determining bolt pattern for you to check out.

Since your Timken bearing don't cross reference with the bearings we carry your best option to see if there is a hub available would be to take some measurements with a dial caliper on your spindle. You want to measure where the seal, and inner and outer bearings ride.

If you get back to me with that information I will help you pick out the right hub assemblies. have, followed by selecting your outer bearing, and then all the correct hubs will be listed.

I also attached a page that has all of our 60 inch axles we carry. You should note that they all have a spring center to spring center dimension of 48 inches.
