Best Inexpensive Roof Cargo Basket with Extension for a 2010 Subaru Outback

Hi there, Ive just purchased the Thule Canyon basket. Will the extensions make the basket too long for my Subaru Outback 2010?

Too long or not is a matter of opinion! Provided the Thule basket, # TH859XT, fits now, it will still mount to your 2010 Subaru Outback using extension # TH8591XT. The extension adds 20 inches total to the length of the basket making it 69 inches long but it does not change the installation process at all. You could change the arrangement of the feet to make the basket more forward or rearward on the crossbars if needed. Compare the overall length to the roof length to determine if the extension is too much to handle.
