Installing a Fuse Circuit Tap and Best Location to Install a Battery Isolation Solenoid
Question:
I just bought this part F2526 but its still on the process so I really dont know if theres instructions/drawing/diagram how to install it. As the picture shows it has two slots for fuses. Questions are as follow: 1 Which of those two slots are for fuses of what? 2 What are the best fuse locations of car to tap this solenoid PK5231201 aside from Ignition Switch fuse using F2526 where its gonna be OFF when the engine is OFF and ON when its ON? 3 Is it safe to tap this to the Ignition Switch fuse location? Or is it too risky there coz thats the cars starting power?because if it blows, the car wont start at all

The Firestone fuse circuit tap # F2526 plugs directly into your fuse box. It provides ports for your original fuse and the accessory system fuse. I attached a diagram for you as well.
For the 12V ignition, a good source to use is the vehicles radio, powered antenna or ignition switch. The solenoid will allow the 12V feed to remain active only when the vehicle is running; when the vehicle is turned off the 12V feed will also shut off. You will need ring terminals to connect, such as # DW05705-1.
I wouldn't consider it to be too risky if attached to the ignition switch fuse location as that's what the solenoid is designed for.
