How to Wire up the GloLight Led Strip # STL179RB So That it Flashes with Blinkers
Question:
I recently purchased the product below. STL179RB GloLight Thinline LED Stop/Turn/Tail Trailer Light - 17inch Long x 1-3/8 Wide x 1inch Deep I have it all wired to my trailer but I am having issues with it. I wired the white lead to whiteground The black lead to 12 volt power and the red lead to my brakes and turn signals. I connected the red to both yellow and green wires on my harness. The problem is that now when we put the directional on both sides blink, including our tow vehicle. The light works, the brake light works, but not the directional correctly. How do I wire this product to work on my trailer. Thanks.

You have it installed the best way the # STL179RB can be honestly. There's no way to make it directional so your best option would be to have it blink with both blinkers. Otherwise it will only blink with one blinker which would seem odd.
A better solution would be to install 2 of these side by side. The one on the right run the red wire to the green wire of your trailer harness and the one of the left run it's red wire to the yellow wire of the wiring harness. This way they will both illuminate when the brakes and running lights are on and the correct one will blink when the blinkers are on.
