Fit of Thule Trunk Mounted Bike Racks on 2005 and 2006 Chrysler Town & Country
Question:
I see that the Gateway Pro 2 bike carrier th88vr will fit my 2005 and my 2006 chrysler town and country minivans back hatch door. What is the load weight capacity of this device? Thanks!

The Thule Gateway Pro for 2-bikes, part # TH88VR would indeed be a fit for your 2005 and 2006 Town & Countries. The Gateway Pro can handle two 35 lbs/bike. The 3 bike model, part # TH78VR can handle up to 105 lbs, with bikes up to 35 lbs apiece.
If you'll be transporting women's bikes or bikes with sharply-angled top tubes, you might also consider a frame adapter bar like part # 64005. The bar spans the distance between the handlebar gooseneck and the seat post, which provides a secondary attachment point for the bike rack. This allows the bike to be carried level, which maximizes ground clearance.
