Does Covercraft SeatSaver Custom Seat Cover # SS7319PCGY Fit a 60/40 Split Bench Seat

I want to make sure this seat cover is designed to work with a 60/40 split bench seat, where both the bench and seatback are split. The picture looks that way but I want to be certain.

Thank you for asking your question about Covercraft SeatSaver Custom Seat Cover # SS7319PCGY and its fit on your 2001 Ford Escape with 60/40 split second row seat.

I contacted Covercraft to confirm the cover's design and I was advised that it is intended for a single standard bench seat, not one with a 60/40 split. The image on our site is evidently incorrect so thank you for noting this; we will correct this. My contact at Covercraft shows that the split seat was not introduced on the Escape until the 2002 model year.

There is a line drawing on the product page for this cover that shows the type/shape of seat it fits. This type is termed a W-style bench seat. Please see the linked photo.

For a 60/40 split second row seat Covercraft offers part # SS7349PCGY which fits model years 2002 through 2004. The diagram on this page shows you the AD-style split seat that this cover fits.
