Oil Cooler Recommendation for 2008 Ford F150 4.2 V6 Manual
Question:
Hi, Ive got a 2008 F150 with 4.2 Litre V6 and manual transmission. Id like to add an oil cooler to decrease temps and prolong the life of the motor. Can you recommend a complete kit that will work with this combination truck/motor?

The Derale Engine Oil Cooler # D15405 would be an excellent choice for an oil cooler on your 2008 Ford F-150. I did some checking and it will fit your vehicle.
The sandwich adapter of this kit will install between your engine block and oil filter and will direct oil pressure to go through the lines to the cooler and then back to your engine.
