Trailer Suspension Axle Recommendation for a Custom Made Tear Trailer
Question:
I am building a tear trailer. Currently I estimate total weight of finished trailer to be somewhere between 900-1200Lbs. Is this not a heavy enough weight to use a cambered axle? I do not want to use slipper springs and I believe Im looking for a pair of 750# springs.

You could use a standard trailer axle if you wanted to. You just would need to find one properly rated for the weight of your trailer. The lightest one we offer is a 2k axle, part # T20BTR-6048.
This axle is 60 inches long from hub face to hub face and 48 inches from spring center to center. If that matches the dimensions of your trailer this axle would work well for you. If not, you would need to have one custom made at a shop local to you that can order in custom axles.
One option you have that would work would be the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension # A12RS440. This has a 1,200 lb capacity like you need and can fit any width trailer frame. This would be an easy solution as it wouldn't require you to piece together the suspension system you need or have to worry about custom ordering axles.
