Question:
Can a vehicle with a hardwired controller be used to pair if my tow vehicle will not work. Also can that hardwired vehicle be used occasionally to tow a trailer with the wireless controller.

Yes, you can use a tow vehicle with a hardwired brake controller to pair the Prodigy RF Brake Controller part # TK94FR. That same vehicle could be used to tow the trailer with the RF installed on it as well and the RF would be the active brake controller.
If you wanted to use the hardwired controller you would need to bypass the RF on the trailer by unplugging the 7-way from the trailer to the RF and then running that 7-way straight to your tow vehicle.
