I spoke with my contact at Tow Ready and using the Vehicle to Vehicle Taillight Converter, # 118158, on a vehicle with LED taillights can be problematic. Since the LED lights draw less power, it can cause the lights to be faintly lit when they should not be.

If you are looking to operate the signal lights on your 2011 Cadillac SRX while it is being towed, I recommend going with Magnetic Tow Lights, # RM-2120. These removable LED lights provide signal lights for your towed car. I have attached an install video to show you how easy they are to use.
