We have several trunk mounted bike racks that would be compatible with your 2004 Civic Coupe, to see our selection simply click on the provided link.
Of the various available options, I would highly recommend the Thule OutWay, part # TH45JV. Rather than the difficult to use strap and buckle arrangement used by other racks, the OutWay uses 2 rubber coated straps that make installation and removal of the rack effortless. The cables are lockable, and the rack also includes an integrated cable lock to deter theft and features the One-Key system.
To carry womens bikes or bikes with sharply angled top tubes or step-through frames, using a frame adapter like part # TH982XT is recommended. The adapter spans the distance between the seatpost and the handlebar gooseneck, and provides a level attachment point to the bike rack so the bike has greater ground clearance and is not carried at an angle.
I have linked you to some product demonstration videos that you might find helpful.
