Parts Needed to Install a Prodigy P3 Brake Controller in a 2011 Ford Expedition
Question:
Hello, I purchased Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller about a year ago from eTrailer for my 2013 Toyota Sienna. I’m trading my Sienna for 2011 Ford Expedition EL Limited and would like to move the controller to Expedition. Can you please let me know what I need to buy to make it work. I’m assuming I will need a Wiring Adapter for Expedition.

If your 2011 Ford Expedition comes with a factory 7-way the only thing you will need to install your Prodigy P3 Brake Controller part # 90195 would be the brake controller install harness part # 3035-P. Check out the install video I attached that shows how it installs in a very similar 2011 Expedition as yours.
If only have a 4-way on your expedition you will also need the part # 37185 plus an additional length of wire to run from blue wire of the # 37185 to the tow package wiring along the rear frame rail of the vehicle.
See the pictures and FAQ article I attached to the right for more info.
