Will Glacier V-Bar chain part # PWH2828SC Clear Front Suspension When Turning on 1998 Chevy Truck
Question:
Hello I have a 98 Chevy 3/4 Ton 4x4 with 285/75-16 Tires on it. I was wondering if the V-bar chains will fit on the front tires without rubbing? How much space is required for them to function without rubbing?? Thanks alot.

The width of the side chain on the Glacier V-Bar chain part # PWH2828SC that you referenced is .219. You should have enough clearance on your 1998 Chevy Truck 3/4 ton, but you can check to be sure.
My contact at Glacier's first response when I told them your vehicle was that these chains would absolutely fit.
I attached a couple FAQ articles on tire chains for you to check out as well.
