Trailer Ramp Spring for Front Door on 2003 Enclosed Snowmobile Trailer

Question:

Im intersted in your 66inch ramp door assist unit. I see you have a free shipping on the unit which im interested in. I need more info from you about the unit before I order it. I have an RandR enclosed snowmobile trailer 2003 year 8.6 in wide x 10 ft long straight side with approx 4 ft deep V at the front of the trailer. The trailer has a spring assist at the back ramp door which is the width of the trailer pretty much. MY PROBLEM IS THE FRONT DOOR AT ONE SIDE OF THE Vinch ANGLE THAT OPENS UP TO DRIVE A SNOWMOBILE ON/OFF THE FRONT END. IT DOES NOT HAVE A SPRING LIFT LIKE THE BACK DOOR DOES. IM A SENIOR CITIZEN AND THE DOOR IS GETTING TO DIFFICULT FOR ME TO LIFT AND DROP DOWN. THE FRONT DOOR IS APPROX 6foot TALL AND APPROX 60inch ACCROSS. THE TRAILER IS ALL ALUMINUM. Will your 66inch spring loaded door unit work on my trailer and can it be installed without welding it to my aluminun structure? Thanks

The TRC Enclosed Trailer Ramp Spring, # 362SW61 will work on your 2003 enclosed snow mobile trailer but the shaft will need to be cut down.

This is a self-installation option because it doesn't have the high torsion springs that require professional assistance. These springs are easy to install and are self-adjusting.

This ramp spring can be bolted to your aluminum structure, welding is not a viable options for many with aluminum. Mounting hardware is not included but can be purchased at your local hardware store.
