Will the Saris Guardian Trunk Mount Bike Rack Fit a 2014 Chevy Cruze

Question:

I have a 2014 Chevy Cruz. Will this bike carrier work? I will not have to transport more than two bikes at one time. Usually only one. That is a Giant hybrid.

I checked with Saris and the Guardian trunk mount bike rack # SAR93FR is listed as a fit for your 2014 Chevy Cruze. You will want to check the weight on your "Giant hybrid." This carrier has a weight limit of 35 lbs per bike. I have included a link to a video review of this bike rack for you.

If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have to use these adapters and without them my wife's bike would be at a severe angle and I would not be able to load my son's bike at all. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
