Fit of Hayes G2 Brake Controller # HA81792BB on 2004 Ford F150

Will this fit my 2004 ford F 150 lariat 5.4l 4wd, factory tow package with 7 pin trailer plug? New body stile Do I need a wiring adaptor?

A brake controller isn't a vehicle-specific item, so the Hayes G2 brake controller you mentioned, part # HA81792BB would work just fine. You would need a wiring adapter, part # HA81783-HBC that would plug into the rear of the controller and into the connector located under the vehicle dashboard.

As you can see in the provided photo, the brake controller is located behind the OBD port under he steering column. It's located above the OBD port and to the right.
