Trunk Bike Rack Recommendation for 2011 Honda CR-V

Question:

The Saris Bones 2 rack will fit my 2011 honda CR-V but it is not listed as a fit on the Saris sight. Do you know why? Any recommendations?

I spoke with my contact at Saris and he recommends going with the Guardian 2 Bike Carrier, # SAR93FR, with Hatch Huggers, # SA3035, for your 2011 Honda CR-V.

Although the Saris Bones 2 rack may fit on your CR-V, the reason it is not recommended for use on your vehicle is due the design. The two separate rubber feet, compared to the padded bar mounting style, put too much pressure on the bumper cover and could cause damage to your vehicle.
