Fifth Wheel Rail Kit Recommendation for a 2015 Ford F-250
Question:
What is the difference/advantage of a 4 bolt or 10 bolt rail installation? I need to install a universal rail kit into a 2015 F250 short bed to accept a Hensley BD3 Fifth Wheel hitch. Hensley says the hitch will fit any universal rail system. Thank you for your answer.

The recommended universal rail kit for your 2015 Ford F250 would be the part # RP30035, this is a 10 bolt kit. There are no 4-bolt kits available that are recommended for your vehicle. The 4-bolt rails are much bigger than the 10-bolt rails. On some vehicles the 4-bolt design will install easier than the 10 bolt design, at the cost of reduced truck bed space.
However, I would recommend you install a custom fit rail kit like part # RP50026-58 this will give you the same universal style rail in your truck bed that will work with your Hensley BD3 Fifth Wheel hitch except the brackets of this kit will install to your truck frame in about half the time as a universal kit and will minimize drilling.
