7-Wire Jacketed Wiring to Re-Wire a Trailer

Question:

what gauge wire comes off of a standard trailer tail light led type? I plan to rewire my bass boat trailer lights. it has small side marker lights as well as new blue water led strip lights which I believe are 18 gauge, very thin stand wire, would like to run a one set of sleeved 7 wire length down each side of my trailer to connect all of the above items as well as the tail lights, which I still would like to purchase from you in the near future a set of new led tai lights so in all I need to know what gauge wire should I use to connect all the wires and do you have such a sleeved wire that has 7 wires in it . I need 30 feet pre side so thats minimum of 60 feet in all of a strand type 7 wire in a sleeve and of course all different colors needless to say

Trailer light wiring is typically in the 16 to 18 gauge range. It is not uncommon to see heavier wire for ground and 12 volt power.

We do have jacketed 7-Wire available, # DW04914-1. The wires in this jacketed wire are 12 and 10 gauge but they will still work just fine with any trailer lights.

This wire is sold in increments of 1 foot. So for two 30 foot strands you would need to enter 60 in the quantity box. Then just cut it in half when you get it. All the wires are different colors.

I have also included a link to the right to all of the LED trailer lights that we carry when the time comes.
