Will the Bolt Facing Down in the Coil of a 2009 Toyota RAV Puncture an Air Bag
Question:
I have a 2009 Rav4 Sport V6 that I would like to install these air bags on. When I look up inside the coil spring, there is a bolt pointing down inside the spring. I do not see this mentioned in the instructions. Will it have to be remove it? Wont it puncture the airbag if I dont? Have you had any other people install them on my type of vehicle? Thanks

Actually the bolt you see in the top of the coils of the springs on your 2009 Toyota RAV4 are used to install the upper protector that comes with the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs # F4174. I confirmed by checking the installation instructions.
