Will the Hollywood Racks Express 3 # HRE3 Fit a Mercury Cougar with Factory Spoiler
Question:
Hollywood Express 3 Does NOT fit a Mercury Cougar with spoiler. No where to attach side straps, and the lower straps slip out of the shipping holes the manual refers to. The weight of the bike without driving made my spoiler loose.

You are correct, the even though the Hollywood Racks Express 3 Bike Carrier, # HRE3 is a confirmed fit on a 1999 Mercury Cougar but it does NOT work with spoilers at all. Instead, I would recommend the Hollywood Racks Expedition 2 # HRF6-2. It is designed to accommodate spoilers. You would use the tow loops on the side of the vehicle to attach straps or hooks, and use the holes located in the vehicle frame for attaching hooks. Check out the attached video.
