In order to pick out the correct ball mount for a vehicle you must first determine what the correct rise/drop is required for your trailer to ride level. I attached an FAQ article on how this is done.
Basically you want to measure from the top of your hitch opening to the ground, and then measure from the bottom of coupler on the trailer when it is sitting level. The difference between these two measurements is the correct rise/drop ball mount you need.
