If you have a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am SE you will need the Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit, item # 194-3,
You will need a tow bar to go with the XL base plate kit and I would recommend the RoadMaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar, item # RM-520, which will slide into the receiver on your RV. Wiring can be done in several ways, I would recommend the using the RoadMaster Tail Light Wiring Kit with Bulbs, item # RM-155, if there is space in the taillights to mount the extra bulbs. This system uses the vehicle tail light lens but bypasses the electrical system to minimize possible problems with wiring. If there is not room for the bulbs in the tail light assembly then I would recommend the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit, item # RM154. You may also need a 7-Way to 4-Way adapter, item # PK12716, to adapt the motor homes connector to the towed vehicle. Finally, you will need a set of safety cables in case of an emergency. You can use the RoadMaster 68 inch Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables, item # RM-643, with the Falcon 2 tow bar.
You will have to consult your vehicle owner manual or your local dealer to find out if there are special considerations for towing your vehicle behind a RV.
