Is There an Adapter for Using a Standard RoadMaster Tow Bar with MX Style Base Plates
Question:
hi i have ? i have a 07 jk wrangler with 1428-3 brackets on the jeep and store master 5000 tow bar, with out the brace / brackets is there anything out there that will work together? ? on the electric what is needed to pulg in a brakeing system i have a little older roadmaster i think its a electric controled unit thanks

There is not an adapter available that will allow MX style brackets to be used with the RoadMaster Stow Master tow bar. You would either need to switch brackets and use part # 1429-1 or switch tow bars in favor of a RoadMaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar, part # RM-520.
As far as the braking system goes, I would need to know what system you have in order to help you with the wiring. I have included a link below to a page with the brake systems we carry for a towed vehicle. If you can identify which system you have, I should be able to help you with the wiring.
