Will Bikes Swing and Hit Each Other Loaded on Thule Spare Me Bike Rack on 2012 Toyota RAV4
Question:
I have a question for you. Im interested in buying this rack. I have a specialized bike and its expensive so i want to make sure that it is safe of this rack. My question is while driving, if we have 2 bikes on will bike swaged in each other?

The Thule Spare Me bike rack # TH963PRO includes anti-sway cradles that will prevent the bikes from swinging and hitting each other or your 2012 Toyota RAV4. I have a similar Thule rack with anti-sway cradles and my bikes hardly move at all.
If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have to use these adapters and without them my wife's bike would be at a severe angle and I would not be able to load my son's bike at all. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
