Replacement Tires for 1982 Prowler Currently Using 6.7-15LT Size Tires

Question:

Have 1982 prowler and need tire and wheel. I think the size is 6.7-15LT, may be 16 hard to say. Trailer has twin axles and four tires. Need a spare. Will also be looking for some sort of spare holder. Thanks, Brian

The 6.7-15LT tire size you mentioned is obsolete, but by using a conversion chart I found online, I was able to determine that if your tires are indeed the 6.7-15ST size, the closest modern tire size would be 205/75-15.

In order to recommend a replacement wheel/tire combo, you'll need to determine the number of lugs and the bolt circle of your existing wheels (see linked article.) For a 15 inch wheel, a 5-lug 4-1/2 inch bolt circle is most common, although it could be 5 lug on 5 inch or less commonly, 5 lug on 4-3/4 inch. Knowing the load range of your existing tires or the capacity of your axles would be helpful.

If you can determine your wheel bolt pattern as well as the axle capacity of your trailer, and reply with that information, I'd be happy to make some specific recommendations.
