Will the Kuat Beta Trailer Hitch Mount Bike Rack Fit a 2005 Mini Cooper S Convertible

Do you have picture of this rack on a 2005 Mini Cooper S convertible? That would help me understand the top up-torp down possibilities. This is one of the best sites I have seen for detailed information where the devil lives.

Your 2005 Mini Cooper S convertible has a hitch? All of the hitches we carry will not fit the S models due to the placement of the exhaust. We do not have a picture showing the Kuat Beta # B202-114 on a Mini Cooper convertible. But I did check numerous pictures of the vehicle and I don't see any way that there would be interference with the convertible top and the bike rack.

The rack measures 10-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the back of the upright mast. I know the pin hole on the Mini is recessed in the vehicle but the rack should still come out plenty far enough to clear the top.

What you can do is measure from the pin hole straight back to the furthest part of the vehicle which may or may not be the top when it is down. If that distance is less than 10-1/2 inches the rack will fit.
