Installing Replacement Handle for Fulton 800 lb Sidewind Trailer Jack

Question:

I acquired a boat trailer with a Fulton 800 lb. sidewind jack missing its handle. This appears to be the correct part. Both bevel gears are still there in the jack body. However, I do not see how the bevel gear that goes on the handle is held in place. Do you have a diagram, video or photo that shows this installation? I saw a video for installing a handle in a Bulldog jack that shows a spring holding the bevel gear against the pin on the handle shaft. Are there other parts Im missing? I guess what I dont understand is what holds the bevel gears in place. Thanks.

The correct replacement handle kit is the part # F0933301S00 that you referenced. First you will slide the handle through the square bushing then through bevel gear.

The handle will slide through hole on opposite side of the jack, align hole in handle with the hole with in bevel gear and then drive the pin through it and then your done.

What holds the bevel gear in place is the pin that gets driven through the handle.
