Testing Tail Light Wires on a 2013 Subaru Forester to Install Tow Bar Wiring Harness RM-154
Question:
Do you happen to have a graphic or schematic that shows how the splices should be made for a 2013 Subaru Forester? It seems this is the only thing missing and I am a visual learner. Thank you!

Roadmaster tow bar wiring harness # RM-154 is a universal type of harness that fits many vehicles. As such there are no vehicle specific installation instructions. You will need to use a circuit tester such as # 3808 to test the tail light wiring on your 2013 Subaru Forester to determine the functions. Then you can connect the harness accordingly.
On the harness the white wire is ground, green is for right turn signal, red is for brake lights, yellow is for left turn signal, and brown is for running lights. I have included a link to a video to the right that you can use as a guide for the testing tail light procedure.
