Differences Between the Westin Signature Series and E Series Tube Steps
Question:
I see that Mike L expert replied that the E-series is an upgrade from the signature series. are you sure about that? the E is mild steel. the Signature is galvanized mild steel and costs more. so it does not make sense that the E is better quality than the Signature. thanks.

The E Series would be considered an upgrade over the Signature step bars if it is the stainless steel version of the bar. In the E Series, the polished bars are constructed of 304 STAINLESS STEEL, and are covered by a LIFETIME warranty. The black powder coated bars are covered by a 3 year warranty which would be similar to the Signature.
The Signature step bars are constructed of galvanized mild steel, and offer a 3 year warranty. Galvanized steel does not resist corrosion nearly as well as stainless steel.
