Bike Rack and Cargo Carrier Recommendation for the Rear of a 2013 Ford Explorer
Question:
I am looking for a hitch mounted cargo carrier that also has a receiver on the cargo carrier itself which I can attach a hitch mounted bike rack. From the picture, it looks like this c18152 has that capability but I could not read anywhere which confirmed this. Any suggestions?

I have a solution for you, but there are no hitch mounted cargo carriers that allow you to install a bike rack into the end of them. That would be too much leverage on the hitch and would add quite a bit of distance the rear of your vehicle.
Instead you would want a straight shank cargo carrier like the part # CC-100 and then use a towing rack like part # C18013. This will attach to the shank of the cargo carrier and will allow you to transport 2 bikes. See review video.
Or...you could add the Stromberg Carlson Bike Rack adapter part number # CC-125 to the # CC-100. This is another way to carry 2 bikes.
