Hub Replacement Recommendation for a Hub with L44649 Inner/Outer Bearings
Question:
I have an older boat trailer with fixed hub wheels. the axle stubs have a 1.062 dia. for the bearings and the dia. for the inner seal is 1.250. the bearings are #L44649. hub length from outside to inside is 3.800. distance between the inner and outer bearing is 2.750 outside to outside. will the hub assembly part # 8-91-05uc1 fit this?

Yes, the Trailer Hub Assembly # 8-258-5UC1 would fit your spindle. You might be measuring the wrong portion of your spindle for where the seal rides. It should be 1.50, but your spindle also should have a 1.25 inch section so I am pretty sure you just have measured the wrong portion.
See the picture I attached.
Based on the dimensions and bearings you have it sounds like you have a BTR spindle.
