How to Determine Which Reese Goose Box Adapter will Fit a 5th Wheel Trailer
Question:
We have a ball in the middle of our GMC 3/4 ton pickup. We need the gooseneck Reeses Coupler AirRide adapter to fit over it. Which is the correct Reeces Adapter to purchase. Thanks. Still confused.

Expert Reply:
To determine if either of the Reese Goose Box adapters will fit your trailer, you will need to know the manufacturer of pin box and the model number. This information should be on a sticker or plate on the pin box on the trailer.
If you cannot find this information you can take some measurements to determine the make and model of the pin box. I have included a link to the right that shows the measurements needed.
Reese Goose Box # RP85FR will fit Lippert 0719, 1621, or 1621HD pin boxes as well as Fabex PB-600 Series pin boxes.
Goose Box # RP94716-61301 will fit Lippert 0115, 1116 and 1716 pin boxes.
If neither Goose Box will fit, there are other adapter options. The Andersen Ranch Hitch # AM3100 will fit any brand gooseneck trailer hitch and standard 5th wheel trailer pin box. I have linked a video review of this adapter for you. I have also linked a help article on adapters.
