Will Hollywood Racks Express Trunk Mount Bike Rack Fit a 2013 Volkswagen Tiguan

Does this rack work for my 2013 VW Tiguan? Do I need glass adapters like I have seen mentioned in other questions? Do I need the adapter bar for womens bikes?

The Hollywood Racks Express trunk mount bike rack # HRE3 is listed as a fit for your 2013 Volkswagen Tiguan. It does not have a glass hatch accessory requirement like Yakima trunk mount bike racks.
An adapter bar, such as # 64005, is recommended but not required unless the bike has a step-through frame. If the adapter bar is not used the bike will be at an odd angle and can affect ground clearance.
However, if your Tiguan has that top spoiler or trim piece at the top of the hatch then I recommend the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top rack # HRF2-3.
This rack has an additional upper arm piece that moves the top straps up and over that spoiler so no weight is put on it (since the spoiler is not meant to support weight). I have included a link to a video that shows how it works.
