Roof Patch Recommendation for Patching a Crack in the Roof of a Fleetwood E1 Popup  

I have a slight crack on the roof of my Fleetwood E1 Popup where the roof meets a black plastic molding on two edges of the roof. I have a tube of NuFlex 311 Self Leveling Silicone I thought I would use. The molding is 1/4 high and creates a L shape, like a small corner. I can send a picture if you like. I am concerned the self leveling product will not create a bead, which, I think, is necessary to seal the crack and bond the plastic molding to the roof. The roof is white. I have not used the product or attempted the repair.. What do you suggest? Thanks
