What is the Weight Capacity of Swagman Trailhead 4 Bike Bike Rack

Question:

I have two questions. First, what is the weight capacity for this rack? My second question involves the hitch bar. I am planning to mount a 2 receiver hitch on the front of my 2006 F-250. I am concerned about the height of the rack, with bikes attached, obstructing my view. Can the hitch bar on this rack be inverted, so that it will lower than the receiver rather than rise as the pictures show?

The Swagman Trailhead has a maximum weight capacity of 100 pounds so the total weight of all the bikes you intend to put on this rack must not exceed 100 pounds.

I called Swagman and you can flip the shank upside down to provide more visibility over your truck hood. Just make sure it has not dropped so much that you run the risk of bottoming out the bike rack on the road.
