Hitch Adapter To Help Reduce Excessive Play With Attached Carrier On 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe
Question:
Trying to decide between the RM-061 and BX88224 to stabilize prevent side to side sway and rocking/rotational play on my Rage UC500 heavy duty hitch-mounted carrier on a 2010 Chevy Tahoe. It weighs about 180lbs, and Im carrying a 300lb medical device. Need the strongest, tightest connection possible. Thanks!!!

If the hitch on your 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe has a 2 inch receiver, I recommend the Blue Ox Hitch Receiver Immobilizer II, part # BX88224. This adapter has a bracket along with 2 U-bolts that will reduce the the sway and rocking motion you are experiencing with your carrier. The reviews we have received for this adapter have been very positive.
The Road Master Quiet Hitch, part # RM-061 you mentioned is for flat-towing only and would not be suitable for your needs.
