Brake Controller And Plug-In Adapter Recommendation For 2007 Ford F-150
Question:
Can you help me choose a trailer brake controller for my father in laws 2007 F150? Its a 4x4 and the rear has connections for both a 4 pole and a 7 pole configuration. He also has a factory supplied harness and relay to use under the dash for connections. the harness is a 6 pole plug configuration with 5 conductors labeled: to trailer electric brakes, feed wire from battery, gnd, stop lamp, illuminated feed. thanks for the help.

Thanks for the information about your father-in-laws 2007 Ford F-150.
The brake controller I recommend is the Tekonsha Prodigy P2, part # 90885. This is our most popular brake controller because it is easy to install and use.
The adapter you need to hook up the controller under the dash is part # 3035-P. One end plugs into the harness under the dash and the other simply connects to the brake controller.
