Can the Factory Transmission Cooler on a 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500HD be Replaced with Remote Cooler
Question:
I would like to replace the oem transmission cooler In my 2005 silverado 2500hd. 6.0 gas 4l80e. I would like a complete kit with fan and thermostat. What should I use?

It would be best to use a transmission cooler as a supplemental cooler to the factory transmission cooler. But if you have to bypass the factory cooler you will need to plug the input/output outlets at the radiator and use a remote cooler such as # D13960. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you.
