5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for a Flatbed 1990 Ford F-250

Question:

I have a Reese 14k 5th wheel hitch. What is the railing kit I need to mount it in my, 90 F250 lariat flatbed pickup.

Flatbeds are unique in that the bed is further from the frame than on a regular truck bed. The installation kits are not designed for flatbed trucks.

You would need a special hitch, # RP30054, which requires a custom installation performed by a qualified fabricator/welder. You can take a look at the installation instructions I have linked to the right to see what is required for this installation.
