No Power to Trailer Brake Controller on a 2008 Chevy Tahoe
Question:
While I was soldering the wires together I touched one of the wires to the brake pedal by accident of course but the unit wasnt plugged in so i finished and now I have no power to the controller. unplugged the controller used a tester no power to plug is there a fuse that i could ave blown

Since you have a 2008 Chevy Tahoe the likely problem is that the fuse for a brake controller is not present or you need to make some connections under the hood to make everything fully functional. I do not believe that you have blown a fuse.
