Availability of Sidewinder Pin Box to Replace Lippert Pin Box on 2011 Durango 295CS 5th Wheel

Question:

hi, I was wondering if this would work on a 2011 Durango 295cs . it has a extended pin box on it already but not sure of the model number . I think the model is lippert 1621 but not 100 percent sure since part of the sticker is gone. my truck is a 2011 f250 supercab 4x4 with the 6.75 box . my hitch is a bandw 16k patriot . thanks

Your B and W Patriot 5th wheel does offer a range of installation adjustments for its pivot arms that you will find on the linked product page for part # BWRVK3200. This hitch is also compatible with Sidewinder pin boxes.

Replacement Sidewinder pin boxes are best identified by the part number from the original. The Lippert 1621 is a popular unit and can be replaced by a Sidewinder or Air-Ride Sidewinder but the unit you referenced, part # RP61412, is not a fit to replace a Lippert 1621. For this pin box you'd use Reese # RP34FR or # RP61422 if you prefer a cushioned Air-Ride unit.
