LED's of Tekonsha Prodigy P2 # 90885 Remain Lit After Vehicle is Shut Off
Question:
Are to small blue dots always on / lit up?

Expert Reply:
Because the Prodigy P2 brake controller has a direct connection to the vehicle's battery, the LED's on the display will remain lit once the controller enters its sleep mode after about 15-20 minutes of inactivity. The power draw is absolutely tiny, you don't need to worry about your battery being discharged. The vehicle would need to sit for months and months before that would begin to become an issue.
The brake controller manufacturers purposely design the controllers to operate this way, because if there was an on-off switch, folks would forget to turn the controller on before towing, which could be unsafe.
I've linked you to the installation instructions/ owner's manual for the Prodigy P2.
