Towing Mirrors for a 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and 2002 Jeep Liberty

Question:

This is a gift so will just be able to give you 2008 Jeep wrangler unlimited without any specific measurements. Your website took me to the 44551 and 44550 for towing mirrors on driver and passenger side of the year, make and model previously mentioned. Backing a jet ski trailer W/o skis on then is very strenuous on neck and is def out of line of vision. Saw the clip on, but then recommended these 2. The only problem is that it then listed them as towing mirrors for CJ 7. Are these same mirrors going to work on jeep wrangler unlimited 2008? For me, I have a 2002 jeep limited unlimited liberty. If I bought some for my jeep also, would these work or do you recommend something else for backing in trailers on my liberty?

Mirror # CM44551 and # CM44550 are not a fit for the 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited though they do fit numerous Jeep models. The best solution is going to be a towing mirrors such as # 11650 or # WM6600 which mount to the doors. These towing mirrors actually offer the best visibility and least vibration of any of the universal towing mirrors. I have linked a video review for you.

There are no custom fit towing mirrors for the 2002 Jeep Liberty either but provided the Liberty doesn't have an body molding at the bottoms of the doors you can also use the door mount mirrors. Based on the pictures I have seen it appears that you can use the clip-on towing mirror like # KS3891 as well.
