Replacement Boat Trailer Wheel and Tire Recommendation for a 4.80-12 Tire
Question:
i have an older boat trailer with range R.. size 480 x 12. at 60 psi. wt with furniture is 780 pounds with out motor. i dont have wt of 25 hp motor. sorry. 5 bolt rim. since i cannot find range r can u give me new range letter???

Based on the PSI rating of your current tire and the fact that the letter B and R are somewhat similar in shape I would be willing to bet you have a Load Range B on your trailer. The Load Range B tires in the 4.80-12 size have a 60 psi max rating.
For a wheel and tire in the size you need with the same rating you would want the Kenda 4.80-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" White Wheel # AM30580. This wheel has a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. Check out the FAQ article I attached on determining bolt pattern.
