Thule AeroBlade Edge Roof Rack for a 2010 Mercedes GL350

Question:

We have a 2010 Mercedes Benz GL350 the Thule website fit guide says we need a 7503 and a 7502. Am I understanding your website correctly that I would get two 7503 per your recommendations? I was thinking of putting a Thule Motion XT on the car do you have any thoughts about such a plan?

The original fit list from Thule for the AeroBlade Edge roof racks was not 100 percent accurate and we are finding things out like this from time to time. I did confirm with Thule that for your 2010 Mercedes GL350 it should be # TH7502-TH7503. Our fit guide will be updated accordingly.

With the rack installed you can mount the Motion XT cargo box # TH629706. To determine if there will be any interference with the rear hatch when opened you would have to measure from the center of the front bar in the forward most position back to the seam between the roof and the hatch. If that distance is greater than 47-1/2 inches then the box will fit without interference.

But you would only be able to take this measurement once you have the rack installed. That wouldn't be a bad idea. That way you won't end up with a box that is too large.
