What is the Bike Weight Capacity for the Thule Passage Bike Carrier part # TH910XT
Question:
I have 2-HEAVY BIKE to load in this bike carrier and using my Toyota VENZA 2012 and will be driving about 550-miles from my starting point to and from destination and back home,,,, Will this bike carrier can carry the HEAVY LOADS of my 2-bikes me and my sons bike and will arrive to and from our destination SAFE?, because aside from our bikes, our 2-kids will be with us during our travel and we still be carrying personal stuffs in our trunk for camping needs. Please response before buying this product because SAFETY TRAVEL is everybodys CONCERN.

That depends on how heavy your bikes are. If they are below the weight capacity of the Thule Passage Bike Carrier part # TH910XT then you would be fine. The weight capacity for this rack is 35 lbs per bike.

If you plan on carrying any womens or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Swagman Easy-Out Women's and Alternative Frame Bike Adapter # 64005 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. I attached a review video for this product also. This will allow the bikes to be carried more level and will provide more ground clearance.
